Home Inspections - folly or foresight?

I never really thought about it, home inspections that is, mostly because I was doing it without even thinking about it. Every time we'd go to party at friends or walked through home when we were looking to move, I was inspecting it. (My wife pointed that out). But recently, a client contacted me about doing a home inspection on a lovely home in Golden. I must admit, at first I was a little intimidated by the home's size. Although, after I arrived and got to work, there was no holding me back. I did enjoy performing the inspection and all in all the home was in good shape for it's age. This job has inspired me to re-certify my credentials for home inspections and that led to some new certifications. I can now add the certified deck/roof inspector seal to go along with my 20+ years of general knowledge in deck building and roofing. So, if you think your deck is "under" the weather or you've been seeing more shingle granules at the end of the downspout than you'd like too....contact me today for a inspection! My inspection provides pictures of current/future concerns, along with insight and recommendations for solving current and eliminating future concerns I found. All this for as little as $1 a square foot!
